NetworkPlus is an initiative of the International Network of Churches (INC). This page explains what information networkplus.au collects, how it is used, and how it is protected. It is written to align with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
For the public site, we collect only what you choose to send us (for example, an enquiry). For the secure leaders’ portal, we hold church details, the contact information of church staff and pastors, and church reporting figures supplied for network oversight. Portal access is restricted and role-based.
How we use it
Information is used to run the NetworkPlus network: to keep church and staff records current, to arrange and record meetings, to share resources, and to give the Network Leader oversight of the network. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it outside INC and its authorised network leaders without consent, unless required by law.
Financial & personal data
Church financial figures and personal contact details (including staff names, emails, mobiles and any photos) are held only within the secure portal, never on the public site, and are visible only to those whose role permits it. A church pastor can see only their own church’s data.
Storage, security & retention
The site uses SSL across all pages, and portal areas are not publicly indexed. We keep personal information only as long as needed for network administration. If a church leaves the network, or a staff member’s details are no longer required, that information is removed or archived. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time.
Contact
For any privacy question, or to access or correct your information, contact the NetworkPlus Network Leader. For broader INC privacy matters, see inc.org.au.
This wording is a starting point for the network and should be reviewed against INC’s own privacy policy before launch.
